Gold Mountain Fire – Zone 32 Reduced to VOLUNTARY Evac Status – 7.22.26

Evacuation Zone 32 from the Gold Mountain Fire will be reduced to a Voluntary Evacuation status as of 9:00 a.m. July 22. This includes the area south of Storm King, east of Cimarron Ridge to County Rd 864A in the Cimarron Valley to the US Forest Service boundary. This includes the Bear Claw, Silver Jack, Eagle’s Rest, and Little Bighorn subdivisions. Zone 33 also remains in Voluntary Evacuation status.

Fire personnel have completed a containment line in the area, and favorable weather conditions are expected. However, conditions may change quickly, and if you are returning to your property we need you to be prepared and ready in case a mandatory evacuation is issued. 

County Road 858 will be open for local traffic to the National Forest boundary. The National Forest closures will remain in place.
