Gold Mountain Fire Update: 7.4.26

UPDATE: 7.4.26, 10:00 a.m.: The Gold Mountain Fire is currently at 25,460 acres and is 0% contained. The fire has spotted into the Cimmaron drainage but is further south than was anticipated. At this time the fire has not entered southwestern Gunnison County. The day is setting up for slightly calmer conditions, but forest fuels are still critically dry. Air Quality Health Advisories remain in effect.

At this time, there have not been any changes to the Gunnison County evacuation zones:

🟨 Zone 32 remains in Voluntary Evacuation

🟩 Zone 33 remains in Pre-Evacuation

We will continue to provide updates around the Gunnison County Evacuation zones when available.
