Gold Mountain Fire – Zone 33 in Pre-Evacuation, Zone 32 in Voluntary Evacuation

The Gold Mountain Fire that originated in Ouray County is encroaching upon the southwestern Gunnison County border in the Owl Creek Pass area. As of this morning, the fire is 18,005 acres with 0% containment.

***Zone 33 on the evacuation map is currently in PRE-EVACUATION status, alongside Zone 32 which is currently in VOLUNTARY EVACUATION status.
