Stage 1 Fire Restrictions/Red Flag Warning

Gunnison County is currently in STAGE 1 FIRE RESTRICTIONS, along with most federally managed lands within Gunnison County.

In addition, a RED FLAG WARNING has been issued for Saturday, June 20th, from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. During a Red Flag Warning, there is NO OPEN BURNING, and the only fires allowed are those in liquid or gas-fueled devices with shut-off valves. No other burning or campfires of any type are permitted during Red Flag Warning hours. During other times of the day, Stage 1 Fire Restrictions apply.
