Flood Watch in Effect through Monday Evening – 8.31.26

Monsoonal moisture is expected to bring thunderstorms and showers with periods of heavy rainfall throughout the day Monday. Several rounds of heavier rain are possible, increasing the risk of flash flooding.

Excessive runoff may cause flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, low-lying areas and other flood-prone locations. Recent burn scars may be especially susceptible to flash flooding and debris flows.

Residents and visitors should monitor weather conditions and be prepared to take action if a Flash Flood Warning is issued. Never drive through flooded roadways.
