Flood Watch for Gunnison County- 7.22.26

A Flood Watch is in effect from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22 through 3:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24.

* WHAT…Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE…All of eastern Utah and western Colorado including several
recent burn scars.

* WHEN…From 11 AM MDT this morning through late tonight.

* IMPACTS…Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Recent burn
scars will be especially susceptible to flash flooding and debris
flows.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
